Pear Bourbon Smash Cocktail

For the muddled pears: Combine 3 over ripe pears, 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1-2 tbsp apple cider. Muddle or blend until a purée is formed.

For the cocktail: Pour 3 oz bourbon, 2.5 oz pear purée (from the muddled pears), 1 oz elderflower liqueur, 1 oz lemon juice, and 1/2 oz real maple into a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake until combined and well chilled.

To serve: Rim a glass with a brown sugar cinnamon mixture. Add ice to the rimmed glass and pour the cocktail concentrate until the glass is about 3/4 full. Top with club soda and garnish with a pear slice and a cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
