Ingredients: 1 lb apples; peeled, cored & chopped; 1.5 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen; 5 piece plums; peeled, cored & chopped; 1.5 tsp vanilla; 2 tbsp real maple syrup or honey; 0.25 cup water; 1 tsp lemon juice

I honestly created this because I was looking for a home for some blueberries and plums in my fridge that were on their last leg. I’m also that person that has to finish their breakfast with something sweet, so this sweet fruit combination seemed like the perfect recipe home✨

Instructions

1. Peel, core and chop the apples and plums. Add to a large pot with water, vanilla, maple syrup & lemon juice.
2. Heat over medium high heat until lightly bubbling, reduce heat to medium low and cook until apples can be crushed by a fork, about 20 mins.
3. Use an immersion blender to blend sauce until smooth. If needed, add more water 1 tsp at a time to reach desired consistency. Seal in an airtight container and refrigerate or can.
