pt. 3 of “What Can’t Milk Do” where I’m taking a regular jug of milk & showing just how many foods 1 ingredient can transform into🥛✨🪄 2 1/2 cups flour 1 Tbsp baking powder 2 tbsp granulated sugar 12 tbsp unsalted cold butter 1 egg *1/4 cup heavy cream + 2 tbsp to coat *1/2 cup whey 3/4 cup white chocolate chips 1 cup fresh blackberries ** if you’d like to make these & don’t have the whey — substitute the 1/4 cup cream + 1/2 cup whey for 3/4 cup buttermilk 1. Mix together your dry ingredients of flour, baking powder and sugar. 2. With a cheese grater, grate your cold butter and mix into dry ingredients with your hands until it reaches a mealy texture. Add in your egg, cream & whey (or buttermilk if using) then fold in your blackberries + chocolate chips until combined. 3. Spread into a circle onto a baking sheet and cut into serving sizes. Coat in heavy cream with baking brush and bake at 350 degrees F for 15-20 minutes or until lightly golden browned. I like to drizzle mine with a glazed frosting (mix 5 tbsp powdered sugar w 1 tbsp water — adjust for desired consistency) You can swap chocolate chips for your favorite fruit, nut or sweet combo! Best served WARM!💫 Enjoy! xo Hailey! 💜
